Minutes to Meeting
October 14, 2009

Executive Board in attendance: Lisa Gargaro, President, Wendy Baricelli, Vice President, Kim Laurelli, Secretary.
Meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM.

President’s Report:
Lisa Gargaro introduced the executive board members of this year’s PTO as Wendy Barricelli, Vice President; Ellen Ferrera, Treasurer; Kim Laurelli, Secretary.

Executive Board in attendance: Lisa Gargaro, President, and Laurie Thies, Secretary.

Meeting was called to order at 7:05PM.

President’s Report: Lisa Gargaro mentioned that next week, Tuesday, May 26th, is appreciation night. Strings and chorus will both have concerts and art will be displayed throughout the cafetorium and lobby.

Kim Laurelli will be the new PTO Secretary next year. Ellen Ferrara will be the new PTO Treasurer. Thank you to both women for volunteering. Lisa Gargaro and Wendi Barricelli will continue in their roles as President and Vice-President.

The PTO meeting started with a presentation on Lyme Disease and its symptoms and treatments.

Vice-Presidents’s Report: Wendi Barricelli said that fleece jackets with the school emblem will be on sale. The jackets can be personalized for an extra charge. The jackets will be on display at the Book Fair Family Night and a flier will also go home with the students.

Sheila Vaske gave a presentation on the ETM Green Recycling Co. This company collects and recycles electronics for a small fee. 50% of the cost will go to the school to help with fundraising. A day will be scheduled for Orchard Farms families to bring in all old electronics.
